Q: What forms of payment to you accept?

A: Through Paypal, we accept credit cards, payment transfers, and e-checks (that come from your bank account).  We also accept cash or money order payments if you pick up your order (St. Clair Shores, Michigan).  Because it takes so much longer to clear the bank, we prefer not to take checks; However, exceptions can be made - Please contact us first (586-747-3884) if you need to pay by check.

Q: Are my online credit card transactions secure?
A: Yes. All online transactions at the Lake St. Clair Muskie Shop are encrypted by Paypal. When you enter your credit information, it is transmitted across the Internet in scrambled form.  We never actually receive your credit information. Your payment is sent to our account through Paypal.

Q: What is Paypal? How do I use it?
A: Paypal is becoming a very popular way to do business on the Internet, because the only people who will have your credit card or bank account information is Paypal. With Paypal, you can send money to anyone with an email address, and you are no longer required to have an account with them.  Our checkout system is linked with PayPal.  When you place your order, you will be taken to Paypal's page, where you can sign in (if you have an account) or type in your credit information without an account.  After the payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation from them that the account was paid, and you will be returned to our ordering system.

Q: Do I have to place my order online?
A:  No.  If you'd rather, you can place your order by phone @ 586-747-3884, or simply email your order and we'll send you a bill.

Q: Do you accept international orders?
A: Yes, if you can pay through Paypal.  If you would like to place an order outside of the continental United States, please contact us first for shipping rates to your country.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: We do now!  Click here to go to that page.

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate that someone bought for me?
A:
To REDEEM a gift certificate purchased online, visit our online store, and shop as you normally would.  When you are ready to check out, choose CHECK for the payment method, and enter the gift certificate number as the check number. We will send you an invoice for the order balance, less the gift certificate amount. Gift certificates do not incur shipping charges, and are not redeemable for cash.

Q: Do you have a printed catalog?
A: Because we are constantly adding products and our inventory is always changing, a printed catalog would be out of date the day we printed it. For this reason, we do not produce a printed catalog.

Q: Do you have a physical store?
A: No. We are an online business only and do not have a retail store.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my order?
A: Processing and delivery time depend on which shipping method you choose and where the order is being delivered. Priority Mail takes approximately 2-4 days to be delivered from the day it is shipped.  UPS is usually a cheaper choice for heavier/larger items, but shipping times tend to be longer.  Under normal circumstances, your order will be filled and shipped the next business day after payment is received.

Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Being a Michigan business, we apply a 6% sales tax to orders originating in the state of Michigan.

Q: What shipping options do I have?
A: We offer shipping with the US Post Office via Priority Mail, and through UPS.  Priority Mail delivers in 2-4 days, and tends to be the better choice for lighter items.  UPS shipping takes longer, but is more cost efficient for heavy items.  After you have placed your order, our system will automatically calculate the shipping costs to your zip code for both methods, based on the weight of the items.  You will have the option to choose the method that you like best.

Q: What is your return policy?
A:
If you are unhappy with any product purchased from LSC Muskie Shop, it can be returned for a full refund (less S/H) within 30 days, as long as the product is in its original packaging, and is unused. If you need to make a return, please call 586-747-3884 to make arrangements, and to get our return shipping address.
